Oliver is our Co-Founder and Commercial Director, after spending 10 years working in Accountancy Practices and Finance Business Partnering roles whilst becoming a Chartered Certified Accountant, he co-founded Venture to provide business owners with an outsourced finance function.

“There was a gap in the service provided by traditional accountants to smaller companies compared to larger companies with a full finance function. Growing SME’s need a more rounded finance function and access to financial advice compared to bare minimum compliance but don’t have the resources to employ a full finance team”

Outside of Venture, Oliver likes to spend time with his family, play football and go to the gym.

Dom is our Co-Founder and Operations Director.

Personally, Dom has over 18 years’ experience both in the Public and Private Sector. Initially working for HMRC, where he acquired AAT and Taxation qualifications. Roles and experience included Personal and Complex Taxation, Risk and compliance in the Construction Industry Sector and Senior Operational Management Roles – leading on projects and other Government campaigns involving Personal and Complex Taxation legislation changes. Following on, Dom ran his own independent Business, providing bookkeeping services to Small Businesses and Sole Traders.

During the pandemic, Dom, and Oliver - who had been friends previously, identified a gap in the market for growing businesses who were missing out on key accountancy services. Not long after, Venture Finance Management was born.

Outside of life as a Venturion, Dom loves spending time with his wife, Linzi and two daughters, Izabella and Gia. Dom also likes going out with friends and Crossfit training.

Paddy is a Qualified Bookkeeper and a member of the AAT. He also assists with Payrolls, Self Assessments and the client onboarding process. With previous experience in B2B Sales, Paddy will always take the time to answer any questions our clients may have and provide valuable support where needed.

Outside of work, Paddy has trained in Martial Arts since the age of 5. A black belt in Karate, has previously won a British Title and fights for the Great Britain Squad.

Lauryn is the second Trainee to join Venture Finance Management and collectively holds just over 4 years’ experience working in a junior finance role. Lauryn is currently coming towards the end of the AAT Level 4 qualification this summer. Her ambition is to become a chartered accountant through studying with ACCA. Lauryn takes pride in delivering excellent services to all clients and is looking forward to what the next few years will bring. Outside of work Lauryn enjoys meeting with friends and walking her two dogs Lola and Mylo.
